To summarize, the book is an attempt to illustrate Mahathir Mohamad leadership through a review of what he has
accomplished and not what he wanted to do. In other words, the book tries to examine the reality of Malaysia under
his leadership, avoiding bias in admiring or criticizing him without reason. The book begins, aimed at reviewing the
Malaysian Government’s success in its policies and development plans, which resulted in unprecedented economic
growth in the country. After a discussion of the most developmental success achieved during Mahathir’s leadership,
the book focuses on his economic, social and political policies to promote Malaysia to the level of being recognized
as the most developed Muslim country in the world. The book has six chapters with each chapter starting with a
quote from Mahathir and an appropriate image.

Dr. Mohammad Kazem Tavakoley born in 1947 in Iran. He has lived about 20 years in Malaysia.
